How to wear Bikinis this Fall

-How I came up with this blog idea:

I waited 2 weeks for a set of bikinis to arrive and when it did it was kinda too cold to go swimming. So I turn the top into a bralette. As the weather is getting colder, I was really reluctant to put my bikinis away. I thought if I keep them within my reach somehow I can delay winter a bit.

-Bikini facts:

Both bikinis are from Zaful and out of maybe 4 Zaful bikinis I own, these two are probably the are better quality than the other two I bought last year. With extremely affordable bikinis, it has always been a hit n miss for me. And I always have a love and hate relationship with Zaful. Over the past two years I've been obsessively and constantly buying bikinis, from cheap brands to higher end brands. I began to really grasp the idea why some bikinis are priced at $100 something dollars and I started to appreciate the amazing quality of those ridiculously priced tiny tiny fabrics.

I found this super cute tank top from the (messy) sale section at my local Urban Outfitters. I wasn't too sure on how I wanted to style it at first but my friend insisted on me buying it. Next day I wore it to the beach with my friend and this is how I styled it. Enjoy this fun, vacay summer look ;)

How I style polka dots in the summer

This summer I just started wearing polka dots. I've always been avoiding them because I thought they were "childish" and too "girly", which now I still think so. BUT, if you style them right they can come out fun and sexy.

An outfit I wore to SF earlier this summer - simple polka dot dress. I threw on a stipe shirt to keep me warm in the windy weather. Stripes surprisingly didn't clash with the polka dots but added more dynamics to the whole outfit.

-Similar outfit-

1. H&M V-neck dress

2. Urban Outfitters poplin dress

3. Urban Outfitters front-tie cut-out romper (so cute)

4. Relisation The Alexandra - navy star (always wanted this one)

While I was in Beijing, I wore this outfit to hang out with my cousin at 798 art district. Wearing something like this in China definitely got a lot of staring, of course. But I grew used to it this time I visited. My cousin took these pictures for me and I gotta say that she's got skills for capturing candid moments.

I styled a polka dot tie-front shirt with a simple over-sized white shorts. And I went all French girl style with a pair of H&M braided sling-backs. I have SO SO much love for these shoes. They are super adorable, affordable and comfortable. They also come in black. They immediately give you a vacay look and go well with all kinds of dresses and bottoms.
